Job summary

Sygnia is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to lead the implementation of Velocity XDR for global clients. You will onboard new accounts, build detection scenarios, and monitor Velocity KPIs across networks, endpoints, apps, and cloud environments.

The role requires strong Linux and SQL skills, Linux tooling, and excellent English communication while coordinating with teams in the Philippines and other regions. Based in Singapore.

Qualifications

• When applying, demonstrate 5+ years in cyber security engineering and MXDR/MDR/SOC/MSSP settings.
• Hands-on in SIEM/EDR/XDR platforms with onboarding and operations experience.
• Strong Linux proficiency, SQL knowledge, and scripting basics (Python preferred).
• Excellent written/spoken English and ability to liaise with stakeholders in the Philippines.
• Knowledge of cyber security standards, risk-based thinking, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding of new clients to MDR services, coordinating with client IT/security teams.
• Develop detection scenarios and alerts for Velocity/XDR to ensure effective threat detection.
• Oversee Velocity KPIs, analyze platform impact on networks, endpoints, and cloud environments.
• Maintain and enhance monitoring capabilities, stay updated on threat landscape.
• Provide technical guidance to clients on security best practices and compliance.
