Job summary

Sygnia is seeking an experienced MDR Site Team Lead for its Singapore MDR Operations. This hands-on leadership role combines people management with advanced security operations, serving as the senior technical authority on shift for complex investigations and high-severity events.

You will manage and develop a team of MDR Analysts, coordinate 24/7 Follow-the-Sun coverage, and ensure client SLAs are met while driving continual improvements in detection and response capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SOC, MDR, or MSSP environments.
• 1+ years of experience leading or directly managing security analysts.
• Strong hands-on investigation experience across SIEM, EDR/XDR, network, identity, email, cloud, and endpoint telemetry.
• Experience with forensic and incident response investigations, including host, network, and cloud log analysis.
• Strong understanding of security threats, attacker behavior, investigation methodologies, and incident response processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of MDR Analysts with coaching and performance feedback.
• Manage scheduling, shift coverage, and on-call allocation for 24/7 Follow-the-Sun operations.
• Serve as the senior technical escalation point for complex investigations and high-severity events.
• Monitor alert queues and priorities ensuring SLA-aligned investigation and escalation.
• Oversee cross-region shift handovers and client communications during investigations.
• Lead security investigations across endpoint, network, identity, email, cloud, and applications environments.
• Improve detection capabilities by tuning logic and reducing false positives.
• Review investigations, escalations, and client communications for accuracy and completeness.
