Mathematical Research Analyst (Family Office)
Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Analyse, verify, and interpret data using MATLAB and other analytical tools.
  • Assist the Managing Director in drafting, reviewing, and editing research papers or technical documents.
  • Support research and analysis related to investment strategies, including but not limited to public equities and real estate, aligned with the activities of a single-family office operating across globally.
  • Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, DeepSeek) to support analysis, research, and ideation processes.
  • Learn and apply new concepts, models, or paradigms, including theoretical and abstract equations.
  • Troubleshoot analytical methods and offer improvements or alternative solutions when needed.
  • Stay up to date with relevant research or developments across fields of interest to the office.
  • Handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Provide ad-hoc support and execution assistance to the Managing Director across various business and research functions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Mathematics or Physics from renowned institutions, with graduates from top-tier universities preferred.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, with strong statistical analysis and data interpretation capabilities.
  • Prior research or academic experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
