Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a passionate Math Tutor to provide engaging Mathematics lessons to students at Secondary, JC, and IB levels in Singapore.

You will plan lessons, explain concepts clearly, and help with homework, tests, and exam prep; manage classes of 6-10 students; require strong knowledge and good communication. Relevant tutoring experience preferred and familiarity with Singapore School Curriculum.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Mathematics at Secondary, JC and/or IB levels.
• Relevant teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
• Familiar with Singapore School Curriculum.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, responsible, and able to engage students effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct Mathematics lessons according to each student's level and learning needs.
• Explain mathematical concepts clearly and simplify challenging topics.
• Provide guidance on homework, assignments, tests, and exam preparation.
• Identify students' strengths and areas for improvement, and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Track students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Build students' confidence and encourage independent problem-solving skills.
• Manage class size of about 6-10 students.
