Primary Maths Tuition Teacher

Location: Novena
Working days & Time:

• Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 1130am to 730pm
• Thursday: 1000am - 1930pm
• Saturday: 830am to 630pm

Salary: $3500 - $6000 (Depends on experiences)

Job Description

• Execute our curriculum (10 to 12 classes lessons per week, 2 hours per class).
• Deliver lessons according to centre’s teaching and curriculum standards to ensure high quality of student learning.
• Record and input students’ milestone check quizzes results into our proprietary data-analytics platform.
• Monitor and analyse class and students’ learning through prompt feedback (written/verbal), data analysis, and grading of students’ work.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with students and parents; provide regular updates to parents on students’ performance and progress.
• Provide support and ideas towards the improvement, planning and development of curriculum.
• Contribute actively in team meetings.
• Create and maintain a safe and conducive learning environment for students.
• Provide coverage for teachers who are unable to take their assigned class due to unforeseen circumstances.
• Other ad-hoc duties such as work on educational projects or events.
• Perform all administrative and other duties as assigned.
• Able to work at least 1 weekend (Saturday).

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree Graduate from a local university
• At least 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience (preferred)
• Familiar with the Singapore school curriculum
