Materials Project Manager - Supply Chain/Manufacturing

Our Global Supply Chain team invests in people, processes and technology and seeks to hire a highly motivated Material Project Manager. The role will actively participate in understanding customers’ requirements and passionately drive internal procurement processes and customers’ global supply chain to exceed internal and external customer expectations.The role will drive strategic initiatives to improve the overall efficiency and profitability of Ichor Systems.

Job Duties & Key Responsibilities

• For assigned products and programs, execute supply chain programs that support delivery, reduce supply risk, reduce costs, and optimize cash flow.
• Attend production meetings and represent shortages to internal and external stakeholders.
• Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves root causes and corrective actions for misalignments such as planning errors, unplanned demand, ECO implementation, item attributes, and external supply-related constraints.
• Maintain DDMRP (Demand Driven MRP) programs such as Kanban and safety stock replenishment contracts inclusive of analyzing and updating quantities, maintaining proper ERP system set-up, keeping applicable contractual liabilities and amendments current, mitigating Ichor’s liability, resolving delivery discrepancies, providing forecasts to suppliers, and ensuring suppliers are performing to contractual service levels.
• Understands and can demonstrate, diagram, and measure all value-add activities in a product value chain.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering preferred
• With at least 5 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in more than one operational discipline.
• Experience working in ERP & PLM systems; Oracle, SAP and Agile preferred
• Advanced Excel knowledge
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leader, self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, hands-on and results-driven.
