An established industry player is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Manager to lead a dynamic team of buyers. Job Responsibilities
Responsible in leading a team of Senior/ Supply chain buyers which includes strategic and tactical procurement of materials to support customers' fulfillment, achieving corporate and plant objectives as well as set targets
Lead the commodity team in their job responsibility
Inventory projection and control management
Surplus/excess and obsolescence management
Liability management
NPI support on common materials
Ensure AOS as a commodity team and escalate where necessary
Weekly M3K reporting and measurement
Managing of purchasing parameter
Administer PO approval
Vendor management for AOS
Direct and monitor commodity team on M3K compliance
Drives system and process improvement
Other duties assigned
Job Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Business studies, Supply chain management or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in Materials planning in a related field of which at least 3 years of supervisory experience is preferred
Knowledge of MRP system is preferred
Knowledge of ASRS is preferred
Knowledge of purchasing and supply chain is preferred
Proficient in MS Office applications
