Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in materials planning with supervisory experience preferred.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible in leading a team of Senior/ Supply chain buyers which includes strategic and tactical procurement of materials to support customers' fulfillment, achieving corporate and plant objectives as well as set targets

• Lead the commodity team in their job responsibility

• Inventory projection and control management

• Surplus/excess and obsolescence management

• Liability management

• NPI support on common materials

• Ensure AOS as a commodity team and escalate where necessary

• Weekly M3K reporting and measurement

• Managing of purchasing parameter

• Administer PO approval

• Vendor management for AOS

• Direct and monitor commodity team on M3K compliance

• Drives system and process improvement

• Other duties assigned

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Business studies, Supply chain management or equivalent

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Materials planning in a related field of which at least 3 years of supervisory experience is preferred

• Knowledge of MRP system is preferred

• Knowledge of ASRS is preferred

• Knowledge of purchasing and supply chain is preferred

• Proficient in MS Office applications
