Job summary

RTX, a world leader in aerospace and defense, seeks a Procurement professional in Singapore to manage purchase orders for engine parts and coordinate with vendors to ensure material flow for production. Qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 1–2 years of procurement, supply chain, or materials management experience.
  • Experience with PO management, supplier coordination, material planning or inventory management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Power BI, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Manage purchase orders for new, overhaul, exchange, and repair parts to support timely and continuous material flow for engine production.
  • Track material availability, shortages, supplier commitments, and delivery status, and follow up with vendors on outstanding orders.
  • Maintain accurate and timely material shortage information.
  • Identify material constraints and coordinate with relevant stakeholders on appropriate material solutions to support production requirements.
  • Support supplier performance reviews and follow up on actions relating to cost, quality, delivery, and service performance.
  • Support timely material fulfillment and inventory control through active WIP management and monitoring of aging finished goods and WIP.
  • Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve defective parts and other material-related issues.
  • Reconcile invoice discrepancies with vendors, Accounts Payable, and relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives to improve procurement processes, material flow, and inventory control.

What You Will Do
