Job description

    Job Description:As a Materials and Corrosion Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to provide expertise in material selection and corrosion management for offshore projects. You will be expected to review Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and optimize material selection while collaborating with various disciplines and offering support in material selection. Additionally, your role will involve utilizing corrosion rate estimation software, interpreting results, and adhering to both National and International Oil and Gas Operators Standards for Materials & Corrosion.You will interface with service providers for Risk Based Inspection (RBI) Study, facilitate RBI workshops with clients, and design, manage, or implement corrosion control strategies. This includes overseeing corrosion monitoring and inspection activities, preparing reports, assessing trends, and providing technical assessments based on corrosion/inspection monitoring data. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting detailed corrosion and materials studies, failure investigations, and participating in corrosion management reviews.Moreover, you will lead corrosion and integrity management review meetings, coordinate necessary actions, and offer technical leadership in designated corrosion engineering disciplines. Your role will require a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.TECH/B.E) with 5-8 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS, MATERIAL SELECTION, MATERIALS SCIENCE, PROJECT MANAGEMENT, FEED, and CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE is essential for success in this position.,
