A leading company in Singapore is seeking a Material Planner for a 6-month contract in the East area. This role involves managing equipment plans, preparing packing lists, and ensuring inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience and strong Excel skills.

Job Description:
Communicate regularly with your team to understand the status of equipment planning for each project.
Prepare draft packing lists based on the Engineering Equipment Breakdown List provided by Technical Managers.
Track and monitor equipment that is currently off-site but expected to be included in the packing list upon return, ensuring it is tested and ready for deployment.
Coordinate with the engineering and warehouse teams to update serial numbers on the packing list as equipment is prepared.
Maintain the packing list by incorporating any updates or changes requested by the client or Technical Manager.
Share the finalised packing list with the Logistics team to support their communication with external parties (e.g., shipping agents or clients) and assist in preparing shipping documentation.
Collaborate closely with the warehouse team to support quality control by performing random cross-checks of prepared equipment against the final packing list before shipment.
Archive final packing lists signed by the shipping agent at the time of equipment collections.
Support inventory maintenance by recording serial numbers of newly acquired CAPEX and removing written-off CAPEX items.
Ensure proper labeling of equipment and parts in accordance with company standards.
Assist in conducting the physical inventory process.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in materials planning or inventory management.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan and execute tasks systematically.
