Job description

  • Responsible for inventory planning and ensure appropriate stock replenishment with no disruption of material supply.
  • Raise Purchase Requisition based on purchasing strategy, forecast/ past consumption, buying rule, lead time, demand and current outstanding orders.
  • Determine demand for buying decision and take appropriate action when demand upsize/ downsize.
  • Analyze inventory level and proactively identify and mitigate potential supply risk.
  • Support and maximize materials cost saving target.
  • Coordinate with purchasing department, expedite/ defer the delivery to ensure continuity of materials supply.
  • Manage substitution item supply and migration.
  • Monitor ageing items and proper action on slow moving/ non-moving item to minimize the material obsolescence.
  • Coordinate new item creation, price update and item activation.
  • Validate material supply availability for new orders launched to factory.
  • Trigger shipment activation and delivery commitment for material selling off to Interco.
  • Interface with various functional groups to resolve material issues that affect customer delivery and manufacturing.
  • Participate projects associated to inventory improvement, lead time reduction, cost savings and new product launch.

Requirements

  • Dip with 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Able to commit 6 months contract with benefits
  • MNC, 5 days week, near One North MRT
