My client is seeking a highly experienced Material Management Manager to join their dynamic team, supporting the manufacturing and aftermarket services. They are a leader in the oil and gas industry. This role offers the opportunity to lead and optimise material processes, ensuring seamless production and exceptional client service. Located in the West of Singapore.

Your new role

As the Material Management Manager, you will be pivotal in ensuring our manufacturing operations align with production plans and KPIs. You will manage master planning, material processes, and systems, driving inventory optimisation and process improvements. Your expertise will be crucial in preparing and updating production schedules and purchasing needs, while ensuring on-time delivery and revenue execution. Leading a team of 3.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning & Systems: Oversee master planning, production schedules, and material management systems to ensure efficient material flow and purchasing.
  
• Operational Alignment & Optimisation: Align material activities with production plans, drive KPIs, and implement process improvements for efficiency.
  
• Inventory Control & Forecasting: Optimise inventory levels, manage stock planning, and accurately forecast material needs to minimise costs and prevent delays.
  
• Revenue & Performance Management: Ensure material availability supports on-time delivery and revenue targets, while meeting inventory turn objectives.
  
• Collaborative Bidding Support: Actively participate in S&OP and collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide material input for bidding processes.
  

What you'll need to succeed

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a material management planning role within the oil and gas or energy industry
  
• A Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or related
  
• Strong leadership skills
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
