Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Receive and conduct receiving inspection on materials and finish goods from suppliers/delivery/production
• Check physical condition of packaging and quantity of delivery/receipt
• Report any defects and/or discrepancies to immediate supervisor
• Bin materials into designated storage locations
• Check material part number and quantity against the GR slip
• Update system for materials movement and ensure inventory accuracy
• Pack/un-pack instruments in shipping (If deployed)
• Pick and pack small and large pack shipments (If deployed)
• Ensure work orders are kitted and issued to production lines within the deadline date
• Conduct cycle count and ensure inventory accuracy
• Ensure safety and security of the shipping/store area and report any discrepancies or breach of safety to immediate supervisor
• Practice good housekeeping & 6S Team Member
• Generate report for warehouse operation use

Requirements

• Secondary education, GCE “O” level or NTC
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in store/shipping in MNC manufacturing environment
• Knowledge in SAP system preferred
• Proficient in PC skills including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Words applications
