Job summary

A leading company is seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of their ERP system. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project scope, resources, and stakeholder communications to align ERP functions with organizational goals. This role requires extensive experience in ERP systems, strong leadership skills, and the ability to oversee complex project timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 10 to 15 years of extensive experience in ERP Project Management.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end ERP functionalities across various modules.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile).

    Key Responsibilities ERP Strategy & Planning : Lead the development, planning, and meticulous implementation of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to align with organizational strategic objectives. Project Scope Definition : Precisely determine and define the scope of ERP projects in close collaboration with the Marketing and Project Director, and other key stakeholders. Requirements & Recommendations : Evaluate current ERP landscape (if any) and proactively recommend changes, enhancements, and future ERP system requirements to optimally meet evolving organizational needs. Resource Management : Determine and secure all necessary resources (human, technical, financial) required to successfully complete ERP projects. Project Coordination : Coordinate all project schedules, resources, equipment, and information across various functional teams and external vendors. Progress Monitoring & Issue Resolution : Diligently monitor project progress, identify potential issues and risks, and proactively handle/resolve any challenges that arise to keep the project on track. Timeline & Responsibility Management : Set clear deadlines, assign responsibilities to team members and stakeholders, and rigorously monitor progress for all aspects of the ERP system implementation. Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with the delivery heads, senior management team, and all other staff affected by project activities, ensuring strong communication and buy-in. Schedule Development & Review : Develop a detailed project schedule that effectively allocates resources to activities. Review and revise the schedule with senior management and all affected staff as required. Process Implementation Leadership : Lead the implementation of new organizational processes and changes that are aligned with the new ERP system's configuration and capabilities. Daily Tracking & Reporting : Track daily progress of all project tasks and activities. Share daily status reports with senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and next steps. Risk & Issue Analysis : Proactively analyze any project risks and issues, providing timely and effective solutions to mitigate Qualifications & Skills : 10 to 15 years of extensive experience in ERP Project Management, with a proven track record of successful ERP system implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) Strong understanding of end-to-end ERP functionalities across various modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR). Demonstrated ability to define project scope, manage resources, and oversee complex project timelines. Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana). Exceptional leadership, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills to manage diverse teams and engage effectively with senior stakeholders. Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing project requirements. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
