Job summary

IDS Medical Systems (idsMED) in Singapore seeks a data management and BI support professional to own master data in the ERP system, ensure data cleanliness, and support analytics for strategic decisions.

You will compile data reports, prepare BI outputs on revenue and product trends, assist industry research, and help manage pricing and distribution agreements while collaborating with multiple stakeholders to streamline processes.

Responsibilities

• Be the custodian, and maintain the product, vendor, and customer master lists in the ERP system in line with the Group Data Management policy
• Respond to requests for new product, vendor and customer creation in the ERP system while reviewing submitted data for discrepancies and errors for correction
• Ensure data cleanliness to enable data analytics within the organization – in support of strategic decision making. Includes reviewing duplication of data and regular data clean up.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to obtain necessary info for data management
• Prepare data upload templates for occasional batch upload exercises
• Be the custodian of list pricing and pricing agreements for the organization, within ERP system. Enable updates or changes to the pricing and other margins as directed internally
• Ensure company policies and good practices are observed
• Effectively self-manage workload and prioritize key activities
• General administration as required, taking guidance from direct line manager
• Compile data reports from various sources into a structured format for use in data analysis, as required by internal (including corporate) and external stakeholders
• Prepare Business Intelligence reports incorporating revenue, product trends, customer segment, product portfolio, etc. to showcase business performance, leading growth indicators and sales effectiveness
• Assist in the consumer research and collation of industry specific information, including industry trends and competitor activities, as well as pipeline reports
• Validate and ensure data accuracy periodically, while enhancing the analytics as needed to value add insights to the organization’s business decisions.
• Support the Business Intelligence team by ensuring the data is consistent in the ERP system, allowing for corporate reports across the Group of companies to be accurate
• Maintain the Distribution Agreements and Letter of Authorization from external vendors
• Conduct agreements’ review alongside the organization’s legal team, and recommend improvement points for the benefit of the organization
• Advocate and promote the improvement of current processes to improve department efficiency
• Constantly strive to optimize the response turnaround time to keep the organization agile in business decision making
• Provide inputs and devise methods to streamline complex steps in the data entry process, utilizing tools from the Microsoft Office suite of products
• Provide data management support to key projects in the organization
• Support in system-based testing for data management in said key projects
• Ensure reliability and teamwork within project groups to facilitate efficient and successful projects
