About Kali Majapahit Martial Arts

Kali Majapahit is a modern Southeast Asian martial arts system with deep roots in Filipino Kali, Silat, Muay Thai, and traditional healing and wellness practices. Founded in 2006, our academy is known for its holistic approach that blends effective self-defense with personal development, fitness, and character education.

With academies across Asia, Europe, and the U.S., Kali Majapahit is more than just martial arts — it’s a journey of growth, empowerment, and community. We teach students of all ages and backgrounds, from kids to adults, in a supportive and inspiring environment.

In Singapore, academies are located in River Valley, Upper Serangoon, Joo Chiat and Sentosa Cove.

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced martial arts Instructor to join our dynamic team in Singapore. This role is ideal for anyone with experience teaching kids who values not only physical mastery but also mental growth and is ready to contribute to our students’ journeys.

Appropriate training will be provided, the ideal candidate should have experience and interest working with children, though not necessarily with martial arts but movement-related practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Martial Arts Instruction: Provide high-quality instruction across a range of Kali Majapahit disciplines. Maintain high standards in curriculum delivery and student engagement.
  • Community Engagement: Promote the Kali Majapahit philosophy of respect, self-confidence, and health. Engage with students and their families to create a supportive, inclusive, and inspiring training environment.
  • Administrative Leadership: Manage class schedules, student progress tracking, and other operational aspects. Coordinate with management on student events, workshops, and program evaluations.
Qualifications:
  • Teaching Experience: At least 2 years in a teaching role with children, in martial arts or movement-related practices.
  • Martial Arts Background: A background in martial arts is preferred though the appropriate training will be provided.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to inspire students and work well with team members.
  • Administrative Experience: Proficiency in class management, scheduling, and program development. Comfortable with digital tools for operational tasks.
