职务描述:
The Revenue Management Strategy Assistant Manager supports revenue and profit growth by analyzing and acting on High Impact Customer (HIC). Responsibilities include conducting prioritization analysis to identify unprofitable customers, investigating root causes with sales, finance, and engineering teams, developing customer-specific action plans, implementing these plans, and tracking results. This role requires high confidence and effective communication with senior management. The Assistant Manager acts as a team lead and may serve as the manager in their absence.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct SWOT analyses to gain competitor insights and internal revenue management understanding.
- Develop strategies such as account plans, rate adjustments, metrics, and profit initiatives to enhance profitability and market position.
- Review strategic recommendations with senior management to build consensus.
- Communicate strategies across regions and countries to facilitate implementation.
- Investigate client characteristics versus plans to develop targeted action plans.
- Lead the development of account-specific action plans to improve profitability.
- Oversee customer profitability management efforts for enterprise and SMB clients.
- Set annual HIC goals and update related processes.
- Engage actively in each step of the CPM process, ensuring thorough action plans.
- Coordinate with sales management for timely plan implementation.
- Support sales teams with expertise, especially during customer negotiations.
- Present revenue performance results to the Business Planning Unit.
- Identify opportunities to implement Revenue Management strategies for sustainable profit growth.
- Develop profit goals and measurement tools for special projects requested by Marketing/Sales.
- Manage communications and organize review meetings for these projects.
- Streamline internal processes and tools to improve efficiency and user experience.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of relevant Revenue Management experience; freight forwarding industry experience is a plus.
- Experience in people management is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI, with strong analytical skills and business acumen.
