JOB DESCRIPTION

NUS Co-op is retail store with a few outlets located in the National University of Singapore. Our business includes university apparel/souvenirs, books, stationery, sundries, gifts, personal protective equipment, medical products, computers, IT accessories and IT repair services.

Job Purpose

We are seeking a Marketing Strategistto join our team. This role is integral in strengthening NUS Co-op’s brand presence across our digital platforms. The candidate will lead our content and social media efforts, connects meaningfully with our students, customers and suitable collaborators.

Key Responsibilities

· Brand Development & Strategy:Develop and implement marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility and positioning while ensuring consistent brand messaging across all platforms (Website, Instagram, Tiktok & LinkedIn)

· Social Media Management: Plan campaigns tailored to each platform on a content calendar while tracking and reporting on performance metrics to assess effectiveness.

· Content Creation: Capture and edit photos & videos which are used to create social media posts, stories, and reels aligned with our brand voice.

· Student Engagement: Plan, execute programmes and engage a team of students to work towards supporting our marketing activities and participation in various student activities. Examples organizing design competition, pop-up stores etc.

What We’re Looking For

· A passion for branding and digital engagement

· Strong communication skills with a proactive approach to work with interns/students to craft content and create stories.

· Experience with managing social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, blogpost, LinkedIn etc), photography/videography, and design tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut)

· Ability to manage the entire content creation process, from ideas to implementation

· Familiarity with social media best practices and emerging trends

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree

• Strong command of written and spoken English

• Creative and Excellent communication skills for collaborating with NUS

student influencers, NUS departments/schools and suppliers.

- 5-day work week, 8.30 am to 6 pm

- Monthly salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience
