Overview

Hitachi Energy's Grid Integration business unit has delivered more than 4,000 projects over the last 15 years. Our Grid Integration portfolio spans a wide range of transmission and substation applications, which facilitate reliable and efficient system integration of the future digital electric network with minimum environmental impact. We incorporate the integrated systems, solutions and services of our business' DC and AC fields, including HVDC, Substations, FACTS, Grid and Power Quality solutions such as offshore wind connections, and Semiconductors. We offer Power Consulting for key segments in the energy system, such as renewables, transmission distribution and as well as e-transportation solutions.

We are seeking a dynamic Marketing & Sales Manager to lead Singapore’s sales and marketing initiatives, engaging with both new and existing customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. This role involves fully in developing and executing marketing strategies, managing brand performance and profitability, and ensuring excellent customer support across product inquiries, pricing, and service resolution. This includes early marketing and lead generation, direct customer sales as well as responsibility for tendering.

How you’ll make an impact
  • You will be responsible for creating, planning, and implementing the marketing and communications strategies aligned with global and local business objectives, develop and implement sales strategy business development initiatives, in alignment with Local Operating Unit (LOU) sales strategy to achieve sales targets in respect of both budgets and sales efficiency.
  • You will identify opportunities with existing and potential new customers within defined geographical area and determine plans for securing the opportunities and collaborate internally and oversee preparation of competitor analyses ranging from full profit and loss account (P&L) and main financial data to company profile and net sales analysis.
  • You will be responsible for the product marketing, industry, segment marketing and strategic and tactical marketing plans to support the relevant organization, initiate, implement and reports market analysis and marketing activities, ensure the market is monitored by developing and maintaining efficient marketing tools and implementing coordinated marketing analyses and activities.
  • You will support the development of strong relationships with key customers, build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers ensure efficient marketing communications.
  • You will identify and manage potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels and take ownership of the sales processes, all relevant training and development plans, actions, and programs.
  • You will lead the Grid Integration Sales and Marketing team, including, develop employee skills and provide feedback on employee performance, help to develop employee skills where needed, and addressing performance problems in consultation with HRBP.
  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

Your background
  • You hold a degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing sales and marketing in the similar industry and business segment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven ability to lead a small team in fast paced environments.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
