Job description

Grounded in a talent-centric mindset, Maker Lab is a marketing agency designed to build decentralised technology-led agency teams, rooted in collaboration with clients from the ground up. Maker Lab’s cross-functional teams of multidisciplinary specialists are embedded into client teams across digital marketing competencies — from measurement & analytics to content production.

Role Summary:

As the Marketing Operations Manager, you'll partner with senior leadership in APAC at a major video platform. This role is key to ensuring operational efficiency and strategic success by providing essential communication and decision-making tools.

Role:

  • Lead the development of compelling and concise internal communications that are fully aligned with the client’s company's strategy.
  • Act as a key advisor to senior leadership, supporting the development and delivery of presentations for critical business updates.
  • Drive the organization of high-stakes meetings, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and team on-sites, while curating agendas for strategic forums and ensuring consistent communication and follow-up.
  • Develop and implement robust decision-making frameworks to streamline information flow and decision execution.
  • Manage and provide strategic consultation on complex scenarios related to budgets, resource asks, and justifications.
  • Own strategic planning processes to ensure effective and data-driven resource allocation.
  • Lead the implementation and prioritisation of a calendar of key initiatives, ensuring they are directly tied to broader strategic goals.
  • Partner with insights & analytics teams to establish, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly compile results to inform high-level business decisions.

You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in a strategy, operations, or similar leadership role, with a strong preference for 4+ years in the technology sector.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to craft and adapt strategic messaging for diverse senior-level audiences.
  • Extensive experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, demonstrating the ability to manage complex demands and lead through ambiguity.
  • Expert-level familiarity with tools for project management and performance analytics.
  • Deep passion for the web video/video-sharing ecosystem and digital culture, with a strong understanding of content creators and a proven ability to identify new opportunities.
  • Superior organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to bring order to large-scale, complex projects.
  • Strong project management leadership, with a track record of successfully driving multiple high-priority projects to completion.
  • A proactive and decisive self-starter with a proven ability to anticipate problems and develop solutions before they arise.
  • Expertise in data analysis and a demonstrated ability to translate complex insights into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills and, ideally, fluent in another Asian language to support the projects across APAC.
