Job description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Manager to oversee our functional beverages portfolio in Singapore. The successful candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of the local FMCG sector, demonstrable expertise in product development and management, and a creative approach to advancing brand growth. Mastery of Singapore Food Agency (SFA) and Health Sciences Authority (HSA) regulations is essential to ensure all product innovation and marketing initiatives are fully compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Development & Management

· Lead end-to-end product innovation, renovation, and portfolio management for functional beverage lines.

· Conduct thorough market research to assess consumer trends, preferences, and competitive dynamics.

· Collaborate closely with R&D and supply chain functions to facilitate the development and launch of new products.

· Oversee the entire product lifecycle, including pricing strategies, market positioning, and profitability analysis.

2. Brand & Marketing Strategy

· Design and implement comprehensive 360° marketing campaigns across ATL, BTL, digital channels, influencer partnerships, and PR initiatives.

· Elevate brand equity through compelling storytelling and strategic differentiation within a competitive marketplace.

· Drive go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new product introductions.

· Work in tandem with sales teams to optimize trade marketing and distribution approaches.

3. Regulatory & Compliance

· Ensure all marketing claims, packaging, and formulations adhere strictly to SFA and HSA guidelines.

· Coordinate with regulatory authorities and internal legal advisors to proactively manage risks associated with product marketing.

4. Consumer & Market Insights

· Utilize data-driven insights to refine and enhance marketing strategies.

· Monitor brand performance, market share, and competitor activities to inform tactical decisions.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Food Science, or a related discipline.

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in FMCG marketing, with preference given to candidates specializing in functional beverages, health drinks, or dairy products.

· Proven success in product development, brand stewardship, and trade marketing.

· In-depth understanding of Singapore’s FMCG landscape and consumer behavior.

· Comprehensive knowledge of SFA, HSA, and relevant food/beverage regulatory requirements.

· Creative, analytical, and results-oriented, possessing exceptional project management abilities.

· Excellent communication skills and adept at stakeholder management.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Prior experience in health-focused or functional beverage brands.

· Well-established network with distributors, retailers, and agencies within Singapore.
