- It is an opportunity for a Community Engagement (Content) Manager to join their team
- This will start off as a 12-month contract role
Responsibilities
As a Community Engagement (Content) Manager, there will be 2 tracks of work responsibilities for you.
Content:
You will regularly engage with internal and external stakeholders to draft original content and optimise existing content. Other projects include the drafting of digital publications and thought leadership articles for features that can be published by the organisation or international organisations as well as community outreach initiatives.
- Comprehend and reinterpret technical content into engaging narratives for a diversity of target audiences
- Understand SEO best practices well and draft content that are SEO-friendly.
- Plan content strategy and write for a variety of digital channels and platforms
- Develop content templates and draft layout plans/formats for published content to improve the reading experience of our target audience.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills when engaging and collaborating with different stakeholders such as product teams, designers, and corporate marketing teams for content creation.
- Have an open mindset towards receiving feedback and agility in incorporating them within tight timelines.
- Proactive in researching and staying abreast of industry trends in order to bring in fresh content ideas.
Engagement:
You will work closely with the Community Engagement Team to provide support for community engagement initiatives (i.e. events planning and management, marketing, and content curation, etc).
- Facilitate preparation of engagement events, which include events logistics and marketing.
- Run engagement events independently.
- Manage stakeholders to co-curate content for initiatives.
- Compose promotional materials to broadcast initiatives through various channels such as electronic mailers, social media, etc.
- Maintain membership database and perform regular data analysis.
- Support with other initiatives, beyond events.
The Talent
- 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in the tech industry, or similar.
- Familiar with SEO best practices and SEO tools (e.g. Google Analytics and Ahrefs).
- Familiar with SEO performance measurement tools such as Google Search Console.
- Excellent writing and communication skills; with a keen eye for detail and interest for technology.
- Solid understanding of information hierarchies and content strategy.
- Keen to learn technical concepts.
- Experience in MICE events planning/logistics and expertise in setting up and running AV operations.
- Basic proficiency in design tools and photo/video editing software (e.g. Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Experience in analysing excel data.
