NUS Enterprise seeks a Marketing Manager to elevate BLOCK71 Singapore's brand within the startup ecosystem. Ideal candidates will have a strong marketing background, creativity, and a passion for supporting startups, along with proven skills in brand management, content creation, and community development.
BLOCK71 Singapore is preparing for its next phase of growth. Since our inception in 2011, we have incubated 10 unicorns and hundreds of other startups. As we enter a new era, we are redefining how BLOCK71 Singapore supports and interacts with founders and the broader startup ecosystem.
To support this transformation, we are looking to onboard a Marketing Manager to enhance BLOCK71 Singapore's brand reputation globally, domestically, and within the startup community. The ideal candidate should have a solid operational understanding of marketing campaigns, be creative, passionate about supporting founders, and willing to push boundaries within a structured organization.
This role suits an outgoing individual who enjoys interacting with startups and entrepreneurs. The candidate should be a good writer, familiar with various communication channels, and possess broad interests and high energy levels. A proactive approach to new ideas, experimentation, and learning is crucial.
The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment with constant change, quickly understanding business needs and adapting marketing activities accordingly. A team player who enjoys creating and executing innovative marketing campaigns to build a strong brand and community is preferred. Additionally, understanding that marketing extends beyond communications to include advocacy for a seat at the product development table is important.
