Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager to lead marketing initiatives for our recycling manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sustainability-focused marketing, B2B strategies, and industrial product promotion. This role is crucial in driving brand awareness, generating leads, and supporting business growth through effective marketing campaigns in alignment with our environmental mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to the recycling manufacturing industry, targeting both industrial clients and sustainability-focused organizations.
Position the brand as a leader in sustainable and eco-friendly manufacturing practices through strong storytelling and market education.
Plan and execute B2B marketing campaigns, digital initiatives, and traditional advertising (trade publications, events, etc.).
Oversee content creation for brochures, websites, case studies, product catalogs, and presentations.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and refine marketing approaches.
Coordinate with internal teams (sales, production, R&D) to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment of marketing efforts with business goals.
Lead the planning and execution of trade shows, sustainability forums, industry exhibitions, and networking events.
Manage external vendors and agencies for creative, PR, and media-related work.
Monitor and report on campaign performance, marketing ROI, and KPIs, using tools like Google Analytics, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms.
Manage and optimize the department's marketing budget.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; MBA is a plus.
5+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing or recycling-related industry.
Strong understanding of environmental marketing, industrial supply chains, and sustainability trends.
Experience with B2B marketing, digital tools, and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
Creative thinker with strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
Experience in managing cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of recycling processes, circular economy principles, and green certifications.
Familiarity with government policies or incentives around recycling and waste management.
Ability to create engaging content that balances technical accuracy with compelling storytelling.
Willingness to travel to plant sites, customer locations, and industry events as needed.
