Roles and Responsibilities
- Candidate will oversee the marketing and sales department.
- Achieve growth and sales targets by managing the frozen food product and processed food sales team.
- Responsible to assist the management of importation, exportation, and distribution team.
- Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and extends the company's global reach.
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the top management and Headquarters in Japan.
- Manage objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives in the department.
- Required for coordinating and working closely with Singapore teams and Japanese teams back in the Headquarters to facilitate smooth communication and operation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree of any discipline
- Ability to speak confidently in Business Japanese (preferably equivalent to JLPT1) as the role requires the individual to create a strong partnership with Japanese companies for promoting Japanese food products and is also required to communicate on daily basis with Japan Headquarters’ person in charge.
- Strong business management skills in general and administrative matters (team management, business model construction, operation)
- 5 years or more experiences in frozen and processed food products sales as well as importation/exportation
- Knowledgeable in frozen and processed food products and Japanese foodstuffs
- Strong marketing research and analytical skills, and experience in compiling data trends
- Ability to work independently in preparation of proposals, liaising with clients and securing contracts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Valid driving licence would be a plus.
