The Opportunity

The Marketing team is looking for a driven, creativeand data-savvy marketer to help us grow. You will work closely with the Deputy Director for Marketing and PR to develop cross-channel campaigns, partnerships, and community development initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns to drive event registrations, community and sponsorship engagement.
  • Assist in writing and editing clear, engaging B2B content including emails, social media posts, and website copy.
  • Help manage and update the event website and social media channels.
  • Support the development and scheduling of the content calendar.
  • Assist with demand generation initiatives such as email campaigns, lead nurture flows, and landing page updates.
  • Coordinate with partners and sponsors to fulfil marketing deliverables and ensure timely updates.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance (e.g. email open rates, click-through rates, social media engagement).
  • Conduct market research and desk research to support campaign planning and competitor benchmarking.
  • Liaise with external vendors and partners as needed.

Essential Job Requirements:

  • A diploma or degree in Marketing, Mass Comms, Business, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in marketing—internships, freelance work, or project-based experience in B2B, events, or digital marketing will be advantageous.
  • Strong command of written English, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling content for professional audiences.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Confident communicator who works effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Curious and data-minded: comfortable interpreting basic performance data to identify insights and areas for improvement.
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, or LinkedIn Campaign Manager is a plus (training will be provided).
  • An eye for detail and design aesthetics, with the ability to assist in producing visually engaging content using tools like Canva or Adobe Express.
  • Willingness to learn content marketing, CRM tools (e.g. Pardot, HubSpot), and website CMS platforms under guidance.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, while staying accountable for delivering tasks on time.
  • A positive attitude, collaborative mindset, and a keen interest in learning demand generation strategies to drive audience and sponsor growth.
