About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Director to lead our game’s growth and engagement strategies in the Indonesian market. This role will focus on driving product growth, user growth, and revenue growth through strategic planning, user research, social media campaigns, KOL collaborations, offline events, and channel partner management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in gaming or digital entertainment, with a deep understanding of the Indonesian market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Growth and User Growth:
Develop and execute strategies to drive product adoption and user acquisition in Indonesia.
Analyze user behavior and market trends to identify growth opportunities and optimize user engagement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product updates and features with user needs and market demands. - Revenue Growth:
Design and implement monetization strategies to maximize revenue while maintaining a positive player experience.
Identify and leverage opportunities for in-game purchases, subscriptions, and other revenue streams.
Monitor and analyze revenue performance, adjusting strategies as needed to meet targets. - User Research:
Conduct user research to understand player preferences, pain points, and behaviors in the Indonesian market.
Use insights from research to inform product development, marketing strategies, and community engagement initiatives.
Regularly gather feedback from players to ensure the game remains relevant and engaging. - Social Media Plan:
Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and player engagement.
Manage content calendars and campaigns across platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
Monitor social media performance and optimize strategies to maximize reach and engagement. - KOL Cooperation:
Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and content creators to amplify the game’s presence.
Collaborate with KOLs to create engaging content and campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
Track and measure the impact of KOL collaborations on brand visibility and user acquisition. - Offline Events:
Plan and execute offline events such as gaming tournaments, fan meetups, and promotional activations to deepen player engagement.
Coordinate with local partners and vendors to ensure successful event delivery.
Measure the effectiveness of offline events and refine strategies for future initiatives. - Manage Channel Partners:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, including payment providers, telecom operators, and distributors.
Collaborate with partners to develop co-marketing initiatives and optimize user acquisition channels.
Monitor partner performance and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in game publishing, digital marketing, or community management, preferably in the Indonesian market.
- Strong understanding of product growth, user growth, and revenue growth strategies in the gaming or digital entertainment industry.
- Experience conducting user research and leveraging insights to drive decision-making.
- Expertise in managing social media campaigns and collaborating with KOLs.
- Demonstrated success in planning and executing offline events and managing channel partnerships.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
