Job description

In this newly created role, the Marketing Director Asia will report to Global Marketing and Innovations (based in Netherlands) with a dotted line to the Managing Director, Asia.

Main purpose

  • Specify the main output of the job in a concise manner.
  • Drive strategic channel development and performance for H&B (including QSR and C&T) in Asia. Scope includes enhancing mental availability, commercial execution, and managing relevant portfolios, including both HERO assortment and key innovations across all product applications.
  • Manage teams including subchannel marketing managers, country marketers, and culinary leaders.

Business context

The business produces and commercializes a wide range of dairy products and solutions with added value, targeted at professional customers in a challenging market landscape. The role focuses on three main businesses: H&B, QSR, and C&T.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to the Horeca, Bakery, QSR, and C&T channels to increase market penetration and acquire new operators.
  • Responsible for performance and profitability of the entire Asia H&B, QSR, and C&T segments through a value-added portfolio based on winning propositions against competitors.
  • Collaborate with country leads on strategy development and key account management, including digital marketing and sales execution.
  • Oversee execution and portfolio management of key initiatives such as hero-focused assortments, innovation, renovation, simplification, and supply chain optimizations.
  • Lead a team of marketers and culinary experts.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Academic or Master’s degree (WO level).
  • Experience in marketing strategy (B2C, B2B), with proven success in international scope and matrix organizations, food service, and channel management.
