About the role
As the Marketing Director, your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that elevate brand presence, drive revenue, and ensure consistency across all digital and traditional channels. This role focuses heavily on digital marketing performance, brand storytelling, and strategic budget oversight. The Marketing Director will lead marketing efforts for a portfolio of high-end restaurants, working closely with executive leadership, operations, and external agencies to maintain a luxury brand standard while achieving business goals.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement multi-channel marketing strategies to support brand positioning, guest acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform short- and long-term marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with ownership and executive leadership to define KPIs, growth targets, and ROI benchmarks.
Digital Marketing
- Lead all digital marketing initiatives including SEO, SEM, paid social, email marketing, influencer partnerships, and content strategy.
- Manage and optimize online advertising campaigns to maximize reach and conversions.
- Oversee website UX, performance, and content updates to ensure optimal user experience and brand consistency.
- Utilize analytics tools to track campaign performance and optimize in real time.
Brand Development & Guest Engagement
- Maintain and enhance the visual and tonal identity of each restaurant brand across all marketing touchpoints.
- Oversee creative development of promotional materials, menus, event assets, and social media content.
- Coordinate with PR agencies to secure media coverage, influencer events, and high-visibility collaborations.
Budget Management
- Develop, manage, and optimize the annual marketing budget across all restaurant properties.
- Track spend vs. ROI, reallocate resources as needed, and ensure cost-effectiveness of marketing efforts.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, advertising platforms, and creative agencies to maximize value.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals and freelancers across digital, content, and creative disciplines.
- Work cross-functionally with restaurant GMs, culinary teams, and guest services to align marketing with operations.
- Report monthly and quarterly performance metrics to senior leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the luxury sectors.
- Proven success managing digital marketing for luxury, lifestyle, or high-end hospitality brands.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
