A dynamic technology startup is seeking a Marketing Director in Singapore to drive their go-to-market strategy and brand positioning. This pivotal role involves crafting and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy, leading a marketing team, and collaborating with executive leadership. Candidates should possess 6–10 years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, strong storytelling abilities, and a comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a hands on, strategic, and creative Marketing Director to take ownership of our go-to-market strategy and execution. You’ll be the first senior marketing hire, responsible for driving awareness, shaping product positioning, and building pipeline. You’ll work directly with the founders, product, and sales to help define the market—and our place in it.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Marketing Leadership
• Develop and own the overall marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
• Conduct market segmentation and competitor analysis to refine positioning and go-to-market plans.
• Identify long-term opportunities for brand growth, reputation management, and category leadership.
Brand Awareness & Thought Leadership
• Define and amplify True Watch’s brand voice and messaging across all touchpoints.
• Lead initiatives that build brand credibility and mindshare, including PR, content partnerships, and speaking engagements.
• Oversee execution of brand campaigns, storytelling, and integrated communications across owned and earned media.
Integrated Campaign Management
• Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns (digital, events, partnerships) focused on top-of-funnel awareness and strategic positioning.
• Track and optimize brand KPIs: share of voice, brand recall, NPS, engagement.
Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership
• Partner closely with executive leadership, product, and sales teams to align marketing strategy with company growth.
• Mentor and lead a growing marketing team; oversee external agencies or freelancers.
What We’re Looking For
• 6–10 years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, ideally at high-growth startups.
• Deep familiarity with observability, developer tools, or cloud-native ecosystems.
• Proven ability to own marketing end-to-end—from strategy to execution.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills; bonus if you can write or edit technical content.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration, and wearing multiple hats
