Job description

At Gensler, we design for people. We leverage our global perspective and local presence to innovate at every scale. We’re not just designers. We’re tinkerers, craftspeople, visionaries, innovators and thought leaders. Fueled by passion and entrepreneurial spirit, our people bring new ideas to solve challenging problems. Whether you’re into sketching new ideas, hacking a building or growing client relationships in global markets, there’s something here for everyone.

Our depth of expertise spans disciplines—from aviation and transportation to education, hospitality, retail, technology and more. At our core we embody an entrepreneurial spirit, always looking ahead for new ways to innovate and add to our clients\' success. We share the belief that design has the power to transform organizations and change lives; whether we’re refreshing a retailer’s brand, planning a new urban district or designing a super tall building.

Our work reflects an enduring commitment to sustainability, and we believe that a diversity of voices and cultures is one of the most powerful strategic tools for securing lasting competitive advantage.

As the world’s largest design firm, Gensler has a unique obligation and opportunity to focus on sustainability in the built environment. We deepened our commitment to combat the impact on climate change in the built environment when we launched Gensler Cities Climate Challenge (GC3) in 2019. This is our pledge to meet an ambitious goal: the elimination of all greenhouse gases from our work by 2030.

Your Role

Gensler’s Singapore office is seeking a creative, motivated, and highly collaborative individual to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator. Marketing Coordinators are the key producers of materials that support Gensler’s direct business development efforts. They work under the direction of the studio director and the regional marketing director to write, design, and produce proposals, presentations, and other collateral used to help the firm win work. They may also support other general activities, such as PR and knowledge management, etc.

All Gensler marketers should be excellent communicators, proactive problem solvers, and team players at a level appropriate to their experience. You must be committed to delivering excellent client service, work well under pressure, and have a positive, “can-do” attitude. Opportunities for career growth are based on a personal initiative, a deeper understanding of our business, and an ability to influence the success of our marketing programs. Special opportunities may arise for those who perform exceptionally within practice areas or disciplines, such as writing, graphic design, strategy, and/or public relations.

What You Will Do
Marketing & Business Development Support
  • Work with principals, senior staff, and other marketing team members to design, write, and produce proposals, presentations, and other marketing collateral, aligned with brand standards
  • Develop new materials to support business development activities, as needed
  • Perform multiple marketing efforts to meet frequent deadlines
  • Develop a deep understanding of Gensler’s portfolio of work, practice areas, and Firmwide capabilities
  • Write case stories and resumes

  • Coordinate other responsibilities, as assigned
  • Being an integrated Marketing Team member
Social Media Management
  • Develop and execute a content calendar across platforms (LinkedIn and Instagram).
  • Create engaging, brand-aligned content (copy, graphics, short videos) in collaboration with PR & Marketing teams.
  • Monitor analytics and engagement metrics to optimize performance and inform strategy.
  • Stay current on social media trends and best practices in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry.
Your Qualifications
  • Min 2-3 years of marketing experience for a design or professional services firm
  • Degree in Journalism, Business, Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Communications, or Marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create effective presentations and other marketing collateral
  • Self-motivated with intra-personal skills, and a great team-player
  • Strong organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple projects and deadlines at a time
  • Ability to work with diverse project teams in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong graphic communication and design skills
  • Competency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign is a must
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
