Job summary

Chinatown Business Association is seeking a Marketing Executive to lead digital content creation, manage social channels, coordinate influencer partnerships, and assist in events for a Singapore precinct.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, or social media management.
  • Proficient in visual graphics design tools and editing apps.
  • Experience with influencer/KOL outreach and campaign execution.
  • On-ground event coordination experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Dra ft platform-specific copy for locals, tourists and youth.
  • Manage and grow presence on TikTok, Xiaohongshu, Instagram and Facebook.
  • Plan monthly social media calendars aligned with festivals and campaigns.
  • Monitor trends and analytics to optimize content strategy.
  • Coordinate influencer campaigns and media invites to boost visibility.
  • Support planning, promotion, and execution of precinct events.
  • Provide live on-ground social media coverage during events.

About the role

We are seeking a creative, driven, and multi-talented Marketing Executive to join our team. In this role, you will lead our digital content creation, manage our social media channels, coordinate influencer partnerships, and assist in bringing large-scale precinct events to life.

Key responsibilities
  • Design high-quality visual assets (posters, banners, digital ads, social media graphics) using Adobe Illustrator and Canva

  • Produce, film, and edit engaging short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Xiaohongshu posts) using CapCut and other editing tools

  • Draft compelling copy tailored to different platforms and target audiences (locals, tourists, youth)

  • Manage, grow, and maintain active presence across key social platforms, primarily TikTok, Xiaohongshu, Instagram, and Facebook

  • Plan and execute monthly social media content calendars aligned with upcoming festivals, campaign launches, and precinct promotions

  • Monitor trends, track audience engagement, and leverage analytics to continuously optimize content strategy

  • Identify, outreach to, and build relationships with relevant Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), micro-influencers, and content creators

  • Coordinate media invites, sponsored visits, and influencer campaigns to boost brand visibility and event awareness

  • Support the planning, promotion, and execution of precinct events (e.g., Mid-Autumn Festival, Chinese New Year, and events markets)

  • Provide live on-ground social media coverage (IG Stories & short clips) during key events and activations

About you
  • 2–3 years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, social media management, or event execution

  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Canva for visual graphics design, Wix/WordPress for website

  • Proficient in CapCut (or equivalent mobile/desktop editing software) for short-form video creation

  • Well-versed with audience trends, algorithms, and best practices on TikTok, Xiaohongshu, Instagram, and Facebook

  • Proven experience in managing influencer/KOL outreach, campaign execution, and relationship management

  • Prior experience in on-ground event management/coordination is preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Mandarin is a strong advantage

  • Creative mindset, strong organizational skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Willing to work on weekends during events
