Job summary

AuroraFood is seeking a marketing-focused intern to support the brand across social media and events in Singapore. You will help research, copywrite, and create content for brand and product promotion, and contribute to posts and videos on Xiaohongshu and TikTok.

The role requires fluent English and Chinese communication, proficiency in Canva (Photoshop/Illustrator/Procreate a plus), and the ability to work independently or in a team. Office-based internship at Ubi Techpark, Singapore.

AuroraFood is a wellness-inspired food tech company founded by three food scientists from the National University of Singapore (NUS). We believe that everyone has the right to enjoy any sweets they like without feeling guilty or worried about their health.

About the position

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the marketing lead to maintain and enhance brand image and awareness, with the ultimate goal of boosting sales.
• Research, copywrite, and create content for brand and product promotion.
• Execute engaging content through posts and videos on Xiaohongshu and TikTok.
• Conduct photo shoots for posters or social media posts as needed.
• Produce high-quality graphic designs, videos, event posters, and EDMs.
• Handle data entry for pop-up events and stall sales.
• Regularly manage stock and inventory records.
• Manage Key Opinion Leader (KOL) partnerships when required.
• Information searching and consolidation.
• Promote products to customers at popup booth and gather their feedbacks.
• Develop sales and marketing strategy for festivals/ events.
• Manage store and retail channels and explore new retail opportunities.
• Manage online orders, including monitoring sales platforms, packing, coordinating, and tracking deliveries, and providing customer service support.
• Handle responsibilities including product packing, office maintenance, and other tasks as needed.
• Quick learner with excellent attention to details.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
• Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal) required.
• Fluency in Chinese is a must.
• Proficiency in Canva is a must. Preferably familiar with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Procreate.
• Previous experience in managing social media accounts, such as Instagram (IG) or TikTok is preferred but not required.
• Ability to illustrate or draw is a plus.

Working hours and benefits

• 2 to 5 full working days per week (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM), based at our office in Ubi Techpark, Singapore 408564.
• Monthly stipend: S$1,000 for a full-time internship (5 days/week). The stipend will be prorated for interns working fewer than 5 days per week.
• Minimum commitment of 3 full months is required.

Other Information

• During the internship, you may be required to travel to our outlets or pop-up booths to assist with on-site operations, as well as visit retail partners for restocking and related tasks.
• This is a marketing and sales-focused role; no laboratory or R&D work will be involved.
• On certain occasions (e.g. evenings or weekends), you may be required to support events or activations outside regular office hours. In such cases, time off in lieu will be provided.
• As this is a relatively short internship, we encourage interns to minimise leave where possible. Of course, exceptions can be made for emergencies with prior discussion.
• Applicants must hold a valid pass (e.g. Student’s Pass) that permits them to undertake the internship in Singapore for the entire internship period. The company is unable to sponsor or apply for a work pass for this internship position.
