Job Title: Sales and Marketing Assistant
Department: Business Development
Reports to: Head of Business
Job Scope
1. Client Outreach & Acquisition
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted outreach programs (e.g., roadshows, events, cold calls, digital campaigns).

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.

  • Conduct client needs assessments and present tailored solutions based on company products and services.

2. Client Onboarding & Platform Training
  • Lead the client onboarding process from initial engagement through to successful setup and activation.

  • Deliver structured product and platform training (in-person or virtual) to ensure smooth adoption.

  • Serve as a key point of contact for initial troubleshooting and client support post-onboarding.

3. Product & Service Development
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations, tech, marketing) to conceptualize, design, and roll out new products or service offerings based on market trends and client feedback.

  • Conduct competitor analysis and gather market intelligence to support the innovation pipeline.

  • Lead pilot testing with selected clients to validate new offerings before wider launch.

4. Sales & Marketing Strategy Execution
  • Contribute to the development of sales and marketing plans, campaign strategies, and KPIs.

  • Execute marketing activities including email campaigns, social media engagement, content creation, and partnerships.

  • Track and report performance metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with marketing, product, operations, and leadership teams to ensure alignment of messaging, execution, and client outcomes.

  • Represent the sales team in internal brainstorming and strategic planning sessions.
