About:

Vortexa is seeking a Marketing and Events Executive/Specialist from mid-July 2025 to mid-February 2026.

Vortexa is a rapidly growing international technology company dedicated to addressing the significant information gap in the energy industry. Using satellite data and artificial intelligence, Vortexa provides real-time insights into global seaborne energy flows, enhancing transparency and efficiency in energy markets and society.

We are looking for a candidate with a proactive attitude, excellent project management skills, and the ability to handle multiple marketing campaigns and events. Experience with event operations, delivering high-quality client experiences, and familiarity with CRMs like Marketo are preferred.

In this role, you will:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute events, managing logistics, vendors, timelines, and budgets.
  2. Align events with business objectives by working with marketing and commercial teams.
  3. Create engaging event messaging and content for target audiences.
  4. Assist with translations and bilingual assets, especially for Japanese and Mandarin, working with agencies as needed.
  5. Analyze event performance metrics and recommend improvements.
  6. Coordinate marketing activities in APAC, acting as a communication bridge between HQ and Singapore.
  7. Manage marketing campaigns to support lead generation and brand awareness in APAC.

You will have:

  1. A proactive, collaborative attitude and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  2. Drive to deliver exceptional event experiences in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Experience with audience acquisition tools, including email campaigns, social media, digital marketing, and referrals.
  4. An analytical mindset and curiosity to interpret data.
  5. Knowledge of CRM tools and adaptability to new technology.
  6. Willingness to travel within APAC.
  7. At least 1-2 years of experience in events or marketing roles.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ideally, you will have:

  1. A degree in marketing, events, or a related business discipline.
  2. Experience working with senior stakeholders and leading discussions confidently.
