Job description

  1. Event Management and Coordination:

    • Assist in planning and executing events like fireside chats, podcasts, and tradeshows.

    • Create and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resources for efficient event delivery.

    • Manage administrative tasks and ensure smooth event execution under changing conditions.

  1. Project Planning and Execution:

    • Help develop and track project timelines, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.

    • Support integrated marketing campaigns to promote events and initiatives.

  2. Marketing and Promotion:

    • Assist in designing marketing strategies and creating materials to boost event visibility.

    • Contribute to social media, newsletters, and promotional content to engage audiences.

  3. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Support communication with event stakeholders, including participants, vendors, and partners.

    • Facilitate smooth collaboration to ensure successful event outcomes.

  4. Additional Responsibilities:

    • Take on other administrative and logistical tasks as needed, showing flexibility

Requirements:

  • Minimum to have a diploma. Relevant qualifications in Mass Communications, Business Administration, Event Management, or similar fields.

  • Interest in entrepreneurship, familiarity with startups and co-working centre would be preferred

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with proven experience in planning and executing events

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and design software such as Canva or Adobe Photoshop, with the ability to create engaging marketing materials.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and work effectively in both independent and team environments.

  • Demonstrated experience in marketing, project management, or entrepreneurship, with a proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced settings.
