Are you passionate about sport, storytelling, and building communities? Do you thrive in dynamic environments where no two days are the same?

The Community and Marketing Manager at SCF, reporting to the General Manager, is a pivotal role that drives the heart of our paddling movement—bringing programs to life, energising our community, and amplifying our impact across Singapore.

From rolling out inclusive paddling programs to crafting social media stories that connect and inspire, this is your chance to grow the sport, champion accessibility, and spark a love for paddling among people of all ages and backgrounds.

What You’ll Do

1. Community Engagement & Program Delivery

  • Plan and deliver exciting paddling programs for schools, affiliates, and community groups
  • Support implementation of SCF’s certification framework and coaching workshops
  • Liaise with schools and grassroots partners to coordinate logistics and boost participation
  • Help design inclusive activities for para-athletes, seniors, and underserved communities
  • Manage registrations and data tracking via SCF’s CRM or other tools

2. Affiliate and Volunteer Support

  • Support affiliate clubs with membership processes and event coordination
  • Maintain accurate records of coaches, assessors, and volunteers
  • Assist with volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and training
  • Prepare communication toolkits and regular updates for affiliates
  • Respond to general enquiries from affiliates, schools, and participants

3. Marketing & Digital Content

  • Execute SCF’s marketing campaigns to promote events, programs, and community impact
  • Create social media content, simple graphics (e.g., Canva), and website updates
  • Collect photos, stories, and testimonials to showcase our vibrant paddling community
  • Monitor performance metrics and contribute to monthly marketing reports
  • Support brand alignment across all programs and respond to media enquiries

4. Events and Outreach

  • Help plan and run grassroots events, open days, and outreach activations
  • Support onsite event logistics—from registration to setup and tear-down
  • Coordinate sponsor booths, partner activations, and school roadshows
  • Distribute marketing materials and ensure smooth delivery of outreach campaigns
  • Gather event feedback and assist with post-event reports

5. Administrative and Cross-Team Support

  • Maintain organised records and files for programs and communications
  • Assist with formatting decks, reports, and promotional materials
  • Support other departments during peak seasons or major events
  • Ensure prompt and clear communication with members and stakeholders
  • Share ideas to improve community experiences and operational efficiency

Who You Are

  • Outgoing, energetic, and people-oriented—you love building relationships
  • Passionate about community sport, outdoor activities, and inclusive engagement
  • A self-starter who’s organised, creative, and comfortable juggling multiple projects
  • Strong in communication—both written and verbal—with a knack for digital content
  • Flexible to work some evenings and weekends for events or outreach

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in community engagement, marketing, or events
  • Diploma or Degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required)
  • Basic design skills (e.g., Canva), website CMS familiarity, and social media experience
  • Experience using CRM or registration tools is a plus
  • A desire to make a positive impact through sport and community building

Why Join Us?

At SCF, we’re more than a sports federation—we’re a movement to build a stronger, more inclusive paddling culture for Singapore. You’ll work in a collaborative team that values initiative, impact, and innovation. Come shape the future of paddling, one program, one post, one paddler at a time.
