Marketing and Communications Manager (Perm Job)

Salary: $7000 to $8000

Location: CBD Area - Telok Ayer

Responsibilities

1. Strategic Communications Execution: Oversee the execution of the company's communications and marketing strategies across Asia, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and voice.
2. Audience Engagement & Brand Building: Identify, cultivate, and engage key target audiences—including policy-makers, academics, and business leaders—in alignment with the company's strategic priorities. Tailor content and outreach strategies to diverse markets across Southeast Asia.
3. Event Marketing & Delegate Recruitment: Collaborate with the communications team in Vancouver to develop and manage marketing strategies for the company's flagship conference, including delegate sales. Support recruitment for roundtables, working groups, and smaller regional events.
4. Media Relations & Network Building: Build and manage a regional network of media contacts, including journalists, editors, and influencers. Coordinate press outreach and develop media materials to generate coverage.
5. Partnership Development: Work with the regional director to identify and negotiate partnerships with chambers of commerce, industry associations, think tanks, and higher education institutions to enhance visibility.
6. Multimedia Content Creation: Coordinate with vendors such as photographers, videographers, and graphic designers to produce high-quality content, ensuring brand consistency.
7. Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Select and oversee external service providers, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness. Provide creative direction as needed.
8. Liaison with Canada-based Communications Team: Collaborate to align global messaging, develop campaigns, and coordinate branded collateral for Asian audiences.
