Job summary

IG Group is seeking a Market Analyst to deliver authoritative market commentary across equities, forex, indices and commodities, translating macro and micro trends into clear content for traders and clients. You will lead IG’s thought leadership and collaborate with the Content and Social Media teams to publish high-quality insights across digital channels, influencing strategy and engagement.

You'll partner with product and trading to embed insights into platform decisions and help IG maintain

Qualifications

Experience spanning financial markets analysis and media or content production.
Deep knowledge of equities, forex, indices and commodities.
Ability to translate fast-moving market dynamics into clear content for diverse audiences.
Experience working cross-functionally with product, trading or commercial teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of IG’s market commentary proposition for external and internal audiences.
Track competitor content strategies and market commentary offerings to differentiate IG.
Provide actionable marketing intelligence to inform campaigns and content planning.
Partner with Product and Trading teams to embed market insights into platform decisions.
Contribute to internal briefings and leadership forums translating market developments into business implications.
