We are currently seeking a high-caliber professional to join our team as a Market Business Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will:

Strategic Market Management

• Support the cluster Market Business Manager (MBM) in enforcing Business Strategy for International, Middle East, and Global India markets, including New Business Expansion, Marketing, Sales Campaigns, Prospect Management, Pricing Reviews, Financials, and Budgeting. Responsibilities include deck preparation, content review, and follow-up on actions.
• Prepare and analyze regulatory reports, financial reports, dashboards, and Management Information (MI) for the Country Head. Assist in budget allocations, facilitate business reviews, and collaborate with other lines of business or HSBC affiliates for growth.
• Act as the primary contact and conduit for respective markets and support functions, including facilitating Business Cases, disseminating information, and managing escalations. Liaise with support teams to ensure efficient and controlled business processes, escalating and resolving issues as needed.
• Understand market challenges, especially operational processing, and lead end-to-end process improvements to streamline efficiencies across the Private Banking platform.
• Build partnerships with Business Change, Implementation, and Transformation teams to facilitate market communications, gather feedback, and validate new systems and processes.

Risk Management and Control

• Assist Market Heads and Desk Heads in overseeing marketing platforms and frontline staff, ensuring policies and procedures are followed and managing risk issues such as audit points and complaints.
• Collaborate with CCO, Risk stewards, and others to provide guidance on PB controls, including CB rules, Investor Protection, and suitability. Review risk metrics and KPIs, providing timely updates to Business Heads.
