Job summary

DIRECT SEARCH ASIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a Vessel Accounts Executive in Singapore to support financial and accounting activities for vessel operations. The role focuses on managing vessel-related accounts, monitoring expenses, processing invoices and preparing financial summaries for management review.

You will collaborate with vessel operations, procurement and ship management teams, ensuring accurate accounting records and timely month-end closures in a fast-paced maritime environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in vessel accounting or maritime industry advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day vessel accounting activities and expenses.
• Process and verify vessel invoices and payment requests.
• Reconcile vessel accounts and monitor cost centres.
• Assist with monthly close and vessel financial reports.
• Coordinate with operations, procurement and ship management teams.
• Ensure accurate records and assist budgeting/forecasting.
