Job summary

Neptune Robotics PTE. LTD. is seeking a Service Technician/Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize auxiliary systems supporting autonomous hull-cleaning operations. You will handle shore-based systems and peripheral devices to ensure smooth deployment and service delivery.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering and 3+ years of maintenance experience in maritime or industrial settings. Safety and proactive risk management are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical supply.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Familiarity with robotics or maritime technology is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Equipment maintenance: preventive and corrective maintenance on auxiliary systems.
• Monitoring & diagnostics: inspections, fault identification and solutions to minimise downtime.
• Technical support: on-site and remote support during robotic fleet deployment.
• Documentation: maintain accurate records of maintenance, spare parts usage and performance.
• Compliance: ensure equipment meets maritime safety and environmental standards.
• Continuous improvement: propose upgrades to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment and control circuits; diesel generators and hydraulic cranes are primary tools.
