Job summary

A leading marine radio communication company is seeking a technician to handle installation, calibration, and repair of marine navigation and communication equipment. The role requires at least an ITE or Diploma in Engineering with hands-on experience in marine electronics. Candidates with relevant education but no prior experience are also welcome to apply.

• Preferred minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in marine electronics.

Job Info:

• Basic Salary: Up to $5,000 (depending on experience) + Variable Bonus

• Higher offer may be considered for candidates with senior titles, subject to interview assessment

• Working Days: 5 Days (Office Hours)

• Location: Outram Park

• Candidates with relevant educational background but no prior experience may also be considered

• Industry: Marine Radio Communication Company

Job Responsibilities:

• Installation, calibration, repair, and maintenance of marine navigation and communication equipment such as:

  • radars, autopilots, ECDIS, radios, compasses, etc.

• Performing onboard inspections and sea trials

• Troubleshooting electronic and electrical faults

• Documentation and reporting of service work

Job Requirements:

• Candidates must possess at least an ITE or Diploma in Engineering (Electronics/Electrical) or equivalent qualification.

• A minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in marine electronics, specifically in navigation and communication equipment, is preferred for this role.
