KAVESSAA CONSULTANCY PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a motivated technician to lead commissioning, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of marine electrical and mechanical equipment on vessels and in the workshop.

You will work with burners, boilers, scrubbers, EGE, EBG, GCU, and related systems, with training provided for entry-level candidates. The role includes on-site and occasional travel, documentation using MS Office, writing service reports, and communicating safety requirements.

Qualificações

• Entry-level candidates welcome; training will be provided.
• Proficient in MS Office for documentation and communication.
• Experience with boiler and burner systems, scrubbers, and marine automation is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic programming skills in Siemens PLC are considered an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Lead commissioning, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of marine electrical and mechanical equipment onboard vessels and in company premises/workshop.
• Travel regionally and occasionally globally for onsite service and support.
• Prepare and obtain customer signatures on Service Certificates onsite.
• Write detailed Service Reports and recommend spare parts and future service actions.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support to clients to resolve issues and improve satisfaction.
• Collaborate with colleagues and maintain a customer-focused approach to ensure high-quality work.

• Lead commissioning, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of marine electrical and mechanical equipment onboard vessels and in company premises/workshop, including burners, boilers, scrubbers, EGE, EBG, GCU, and supporting systems
• Travel on short notice regionally and occasionally globally to perform onsite service and support, maintaining readiness with valid travel documentation, passports, visas, and vaccinations
• Execute work adhering strictly to company Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment guidelines and customer site procedures, and report unsafe practices and incidents promptly
• Prepare and obtain customer signatures on Service Certificates (time sheets) onsite to document completed work
• Write detailed Service Reports outlining job performed, identify potential safety issues, recommend spare parts, and suggest future service actions to customers
• Proactively recommend required or suggested spare parts to customers to optimize equipment performance and reliability
• Identify and communicate sales opportunities to Service Managers to support business growth
• Provide both onsite and remote technical support to clients, resolving issues efficiently and enhancing customer satisfaction
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues by sharing knowledge and experience to foster a team-oriented environment
• Prioritize and execute tasks with a customer-focused approach, ensuring clear communication and high-quality work outcomes

Requirements:

• Basic salary + OT Pay + Allowance
