Job summary

SEA FORREST ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a motivated engineer to develop green marine solutions and reduce the vessel carbon footprint. You will participate in hands-on lab setup, software development for electrical propulsion, and documentation of architecture and test procedures.

Fresh graduates are welcome. You will work in a collaborative team, engage with external partners, and contribute to commissioning and troubleshooting of delivered solutions.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in a relevant discipline.
• Strong software development skills for equipment controls.
• Analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Hands-on person and good communicator.
• Knowledge in power electronics, motor drives, marine propulsion is a plus.
• Fresh graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Develop green marine solutions to reduce carbon footprint.
• Set up test lab for development and testing.
• Perform PLC software and algorithm development for electrical propulsion.
• Document software architecture, test procedures, quality control, and supporting documents.
• Support commissioning of vessels with similar configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during vessel commissioning.
• Assist supervisor with additional tasks as required by supervisor.
