Job summary

A maritime safety solutions provider in Singapore is seeking an LSA/FFA Technician responsible for the installation and maintenance of life-saving and firefighting appliances. The successful candidate will have at least four years of experience in the maritime sector, exceptional technical skills, and a strong knowledge of SOLAS regulations. This role involves diagnosing equipment faults and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of experience as an LSA/FFA Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of SOLAS regulations and class rules.
• Exceptional skills in maintaining and repairing lifeboats and firefighting apparatus.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain life-saving and firefighting appliances aboard ships.
• Perform routine testing and inspections of safety equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in equipment.
