Job summary

Kuok Group Singapore seeks an Estimator to deliver precise quotations for superyacht repair, refit and docking projects at PaxOcean Singapore and Batam. You will translate client specs into priced proposals and work closely with Production, subcontractors and vendors.

Regular travel to PaxOcean yards and client vessels is required for inspections. You will build robust cost estimates from manhours, materials and third‑party costs, ensuring clear line items, assumptions and exclusions accompany

Qualifications

• 3+ years in ship repair or shipyard estimating.
• Experience with superyacht or high-value vessels is a plus.
• Familiar with docking specs, class and flag survey requirements.
• Strong ability to build accurate cost structures from manhours, materials and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate repair, refit and docking specs and yard lists.
• Prepare and submit quotes for Singapore and Batam on time.
• Structure quotations with clear assumptions, exclusions and options.
• Source and evaluate offers from equipment makers and subcontractors.
• Validate manhours and resource assumptions with Production before submission.
• Attend vessel inspections and pre-docking surveys for scope verification.
• Prepare revisions and variations during negotiations and execution.
• Handover awarded scope to the project team with cost data and norms.
