A leading offshore terminal company in Singapore seeks a Chief Engineer to oversee quality controls in project management and operations. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of sailing experience as a Chief Engineer on tankers, with skills in leading teams and managing FSO conversion projects. Qualifications

• Must have sailed as a Chief Engineer for 2 years on tankers.
• Experience as FSO Superintendent or Vessel Superintendent managing FSO or Tankers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Quality controls in all aspects of Project management and Operations.
• Conducting internal quality and technical audits and training.
• Monitor and manage Plan maintenance scheme (PMS) work list for FPSO/FSO.

Qualifications

• COC as Class 1 (Chief Engineer) Must have sailed as a Chief Engineer for 2 years on tankers.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Quality controls in all aspects of Project management and Operations.
• Monitor Conversion processes and when required FSO /FPSO's performance on day-to-day basis to ensure quality turnaround.
• Assisting during external quality and technical audits on board
• Conducting internal quality and technical audits and training.
• Conversion and Dry docking, control of quality in all processes. Attending to the conversion and dry docking for the FSO’s
• Monitor and manage Plan maintenance scheme (PMS) work list for FPSO/FSO.
• Monitor manage and review NCR's status
• Review class records and plan for surveys, Dry docking. Uwild or any shutdown requirements
• Preparing timeline and costings
• Interface with clients on technical and Quality matters
• Manage coach and motivate technical executive to their duties and responsibilites effectively.

Skills Requirements

• Good negotiation skills and willingness to learn.
• Leadership skills
• Min 2 years sailing experience as Chief Engineer.
• Interest in managing FSO conversion projects and operating vessels/FSO’s
• Experience as FSO Superintendent or Vessel Superintendent managing FSO or Tankers.
• Good understanding of Quality standards (9001 and 29001) for offshore industry will be an advantage.
