This role involves providing technical support, overseeing sales performance, and assisting in project coordination. Bilingual candidates are preferred, as is the ability to travel overseas.

Job description

The ideal candidate should have technical knowledge and hands-on experience with marine main engines, along with a solid understanding of B2B sales processes. As this is a sales-focused role, strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are also essential.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the factory with appraisals of engines and technical issues regarding engine performance
• Oversee building schedules of shipyards and technical & commercial meetings with customers
• Keep track of the Distributor’s sales performance and ensure the expected sales budget is met
• Assist the development of sales activities of Distributors
• Provide technical support to distributors and timely information update to HOD
• Provide support for sale seminars or any other sales and/or after-sales related activities or events
• Provide support on project coordination
• Provide advice on the commissioning schedule and oversee the entire process

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin
• Singaporean / Singapore PR preferred
• Able to start work immediately is an advantage
• Willing and able to make overseas travel
