Job description

Experience in marine-related trades, with hands-on work in workshops involving machining, lathe, and milling. Work locations include Tuas, shipyard, and anchorage. Must be committed to overtime, especially on weekends and holidays.

We are seeking a turbine, pump, and engine Service Engineer with a minimum of 10 years' experience. Responsibilities include working within project delivery teams to engineer physical layouts and system installation works, while highlighting any technical, functional, or compatibility issues with the design package. Deviations from client standards should also be identified and communicated.

The role involves managing all on-site trades, both external and internal, ensuring project completion on time to enable successful delivery. Effective communication with clients and project teams is essential, including discussing project details, requirements, problems, updates, and providing clear solutions. The engineer will follow projects through final adjustments, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning, including sign-off processes. Regular progress reports should be provided to the Project Manager.

Attend site meetings as required, representing the company. Ensure prompt completion of timesheets, expenses, project tracker reports, and related documentation. The candidate should have completed a shipyard safety supervisor course.
